INNOVATION

Reut is a fine jewelry house based in New York City, blending innovation with traditional craftsmanship to explore the intersection of art, technology, and sustainability. Founded by Reut Ringel, a Parsons The New School of Design graduate, the collection is centered around a distinctive approach to design, merging sculptural elements and ancient techniques with new materials and innovation. Reut introduced the world’s first permanent Black Gold through a patent-pending process that challenges conventional norms in the fine jewelry industry.

Each individual piece begins with hand-sculpting in wax, embracing the natural imperfections that arise. These sculptures are then transformed through lost wax casting, a centuries-old technique, into one-of-a-kind designs. Drawing inspiration from organic forms, such as the baroque pearls showcased in the collection, the designs play with contrast — hard and soft, light and dark, old and new — exploring opposing elements and the poetic duality they offer. Reut’s works have been featured in Women’s Wear Daily, Vogue Spain, Grazia, and Surface Magazine.
